We do not hold any printed stock of our wall maps as each map is printed to order, that way we can make sure your map is as up-to-date as is possible at the time of printing. Please note we do our best to keep the website images updated, but they may not always be of our most recent maps. If you have any questions please contact us.

In order that we can accurately give a price we need as much detail as possible, no matter how small a project. Please phone us, use our contact form to give us details or email alangrimwade@cosmographics.co.uk direct if you wish to include images and attachments. We respond to all enquiries so please keep a look out for our response, they can go into spam. Please leave a telephone number too, just in case. If you haven’t heard anything from us within 24hours of sending your request, please let us know, we value your custom.

We do not take payment over the phone. The preferred method of payment is via PayPal facility set up in the shop or via BACS, our bank details will show in your confirmation of order if you wish to pay this way. If you click to pay by Paypal you do not have to have a PayPal account. PayPal is simply our gateway for ensuring all transactions are as secure as possible and it accepts all major credit cards as well as having the PayPal facility. If you would prefer us to invoice you for payment by cheque or BACS please contact us.

If you wish to purchase a map that is not available to purchase in the online shop or order a customised map we will invoice you separately. You can pay by card (via paypal), BACS, cheque or via paypal if you have an account.

If you require our company details to raise a purchase order please contact us, we will be pleased to supply the information.

Please note that unless you have an account with us we will not post any maps until payment has been made.

Although our products are priced for UK delivery only, we do deliver worldwide. Due to the pandemic deliveries outside of the UK are taking far longer than usual and we cannot guarantee when our packages will arrive. If you have any questions please contact us so we can ensure the best delivery price. We always respond to enquiries, so please check your spam if you haven’t received an answer within one working day.

All our printed paper and canvas maps are placed in cardboard tubes and sent via Royal Mail first class post in the UK or standard International delivery overseas. Larger tubes are usually sent via Parcelforce. Delivery times vary and we cannot guarantee fast delivery. If you would prefer a guaranteed, fast delivery please contact us. We can place a few maps in one tube so the price to deliver your maps is calculated using the number of items to enable the most cost effective delivery. Mounted and framed canvas maps are packaged flat and despatched directly from the finishing company via courier usually next day delivery in the UK. Contact us for costs and details for deliveries elsewhere.

In-house we print on a high quality heavy paper, either 180 gsm matt paper, 260 gsm satin photo paper,  a white canvas or self adhesive textile. Our colouring maps are supplied on 180 gsm matt paper. We are not restricted to these finishes and can supply prints mounted on 5mm Foam-X, diabond, perspex, wallpaper etc. Please contact us with your requirements.

Yes, we do supply framed canvas prints where the canvas is stretched to a frame. Many of our maps now have the option of a framed canvas, but please contact us for a price if the map you require hasn’t the framed canvas option. Where it just says canvas in the priced options this is where the canvas print is supplied rolled so that you can organise framing locally if you wish.

If you cannot find the map you require or one that fits your requirement, please contact us. We have numerous map bases and contacts in the industry and we will do our best to find a map that is fit for purpose. We always respond to enquiries, so please check your spam if you haven’t received an answer within one working day.

In-house we can print up to just over 1m in width, but as long as you wish. However with our print contacts we are not restricted to this size. Otherwise maps can be printed in strips to be mounted and joined. Please contact us with the dimensions you require and we will provide prices.

There is no limit as to how many we can print of any one map. For small numbers of the same map, maybe 1 – 20 maps, (depending on size) print on demand will give you the best price. If you are looking to purchase numerous copies of a map please contact us for the best price. For larger numbers litho printing is recommended and we can provide prices and organise print and delivery for you.

The beauty of supplying maps print on demand is that we can size products (within reason) to best suit your requirement. So if the size specified is too big or small please let us know and we can look to scale up or down for you. For our street level maps we can also change the area of coverage to suit your requirement.

Our laminated prints have a gloss or matt laminate on the front of the print to help protect it. Encapsulated prints are prints that are heat sealed in a plastic pouch that gives full protection all round. Ideal for maps that used a great deal or for outdoors. The plastic can be matt or gloss and different thicknesses.

Often just a personal choice, but can depend on where you position the map and how it is going to be used. Matt helps reduce the glare, but gloss is better should you wish to use water based markers or sticker as it will clean better.
